Custom Loadouts aren’t accessible in Black Ops 7 Beta right out of the box. This means that if you are just starting out with the BO7 Beta, you won’t be able to customize your weapons, Perks, Equipment, and more. Fortunately, the ability to use Custom Loadouts can be unlocked quite early on. Doing so allows you to set up weapons with various attachments and engage in fights on your terms.
Needless to say, the ability to wield weapons by customizing them to fit your playstyle will give you the upper hand in combat. So, without any further ado, let us explore how you can unlock Custom Loadouts in the latest Call of Duty game.
Guide to Unlocking Custom Loadouts in Black Ops 7 Beta
To unlock Custom Loadouts in the Black Ops 7 Beta, you must reach Level 4 in-game. That’s it. Once you have reached Level 4, the Custom Loadouts menu will become accessible. To start building your own loadouts, follow these steps:
- From the main lobby, navigate to the Weapons tab.
- Select Loadouts.
- Select any Custom Loadout from the list.
That’s it. You can now start customizing your builds to your heart’s content. This includes attachments for your Primary and Secondary weapons, Perks, Lethal and Tactical Equipment, and more. However, remember that this is still the Beta. Not all content planned for the final release will be available in the game right now.
Furthermore, it is worth noting here that you might find that some content that’s been confirmed for the Beta isn’t available for the game right now as well. This is due to the Level cap that the developers have set. In the Early Access phase (till October 5, 2025), Level 20 is the highest one can go. Because of this, guns such as the Coda 9 and the Razor 9mm won’t be accessible yet.
These weapons, along with a plethora of Perks, Scorestreaks, and Equipment, will become available in the Open Beta, which kicks off on October 5, 2025, at 10 am PT. On or after this date, the Level cap will be increased to 30. This will allow you to access all the confirmed Beta content for Call of Duty: Black Ops 7.
