How To Start Free for the TASKing in Borderlands 4
As mentioned earlier, you get the Free for the TASKing quest by interacting with an NPC, Kilo. To find him, head to the Launchpad Faction Town in the Howl region within the Fadefields. Next, follow the map marker to locate Kilo, who is standing outside his house. Afterward, interact with him to begin the mission. However, there is a prerequisite that requires completion of The Kairos Job to access the Free for the TASKing quest.

Completing Free for the TASKing in Borderlands 4
After accepting the quest, your first objective is to find the Order Pod to continue with the next task. To do this, head northeast toward the hill. Use the quest marker to arrive at a large rock where you will find the Order Pod, which is actually a large metal container.
Once you reach the pod, locate the controls on the left side of the machine. First, listen to the machine’s instructions and follow the steps in the specific order provided. This part of the quest is similar to The Kairos Job mission, where you follow a similar objective.
