With the Travelling Merchant update in Fisch, we got new items to explore. One of the most useful tools is the Traveler’s Whistle. It allows players to instantly teleport to any area where they have completed their bestiary, including the Northern Expedition zones, Mariana’s Veil, and even the exclusive Treasure Island. However, unlike the Magic Mirror, the Whistle requires a small C$ fee each time it’s used. Obtaining it might be a little tricky, as you need to find a Traveling Merchant, and the Whistle does not always stay in stock.

What Does the Traveler’s Whistle Do in Fisch?
The Traveler’s Whistle lets you travel to any location instantly, but only if you have already completed 100% of its bestiary. Once equipped, it opens a list of destinations you can choose from, and each location has a teleport fee.
How To Get the Traveler’s Whistle
You can only buy the Traveler’s Whistle from the Traveling Merchant NPC. The merchant appears every 30 minutes or so in various locations like Moosewood, Roslit Bay, Sunstone Island, or Terrapin Island. When he arrives, a server-wide notification announces his location.
To buy the Whistle:
- Wait for the merchant’s spawn message in chat.
- Travel to the island he’s docked at.
- Hop onto his boat and interact with the items laid out for sale.
- Purchase the Traveler’s Whistle for 2,500,000 C$ (if available).
If it’s not in stock, you will have to wait for his next spawn, since his inventory rotates each time he arrives.

Best Location To Teleport
Once obtained, the Whistle can be equipped from your inventory. Each trip costs coins, but it’s perfect for returning to Moosewood. The best teleport location is Treasure Island, which costs 75,000 C$ to reach. It’s home to the Treasure Appraiser NPC, who can increase the value of your fish.
