How To Unlock New Music in Skate
In Skate, you can access the in-game soundtrack by pressing down on the D-Pad and selecting the headphones icon. Just like a real-life radio, this opens a music menu that displays the available music. You can scroll through featured playlists such as DO A KICKFLIP, SV Local Classics, San Van Jams, and others. Additionally, you can create a custom playlist by adding tracks to the Favorites section.
To unlock new music in the game, explore the city of San Van and look for speakers that are blasting music. You can identify these by visual cues, such as prominent bass ripples in the air. Now, climb onto the speaker and wait for a prompt to appear. Then use the Grabster and hold the left stick to collect the music. By doing this, the new music will be added to the Newly Discovered album.

You can visit other speaker locations around the city to collect more tracks. Moreover, new music will also be added to the game over time through updates. Skate also lets you adjust music volume separately from other sounds.
To do so, use the left trigger to increase and the right trigger to decrease the volume of the music. If you want to turn off the music entirely, open the Quick Access wheel by pressing down on the D-Pad, and then hold Y or Triangle to mute the speaker. That was all about unlocking new music in Skate.
