Fisch Forgotten Temple Rune Guide

In this guide, we’ll explore how you can get your hands on the Forgotten Temple Runes in Fisch by completing all room puzzles.

After ‘The Lost Jungle’ update, players can find several Forgotten Temple Runes in Fisch. These runes are spread across several rooms within the Forgotten Temple location, which itself is under the Jungle Island. You will have to solve five puzzles within this location to unlock the runes and then get through the secret gate in the Forgotten Temple. In this guide, we’ll explore all five of the rooms, the puzzles, and the runes you unlock in the Forgotten Temple.

All Forgotten Temple Runes in Fisch

Use the GPS and the following coordinates to reach the Jungle Island: -3080, 140, -1125. Once there, head past the spear crafting region and move across the bridge. When you reach the ledge, take a right towards a small cliff. There, you can interact with a rope that leads to the Forgotten Temple.

When you get to the temple, you can find a map of the temple etched in front of you. But, before proceeding in, we recommend speaking with the Jungle Adventurer NPC behind you. Take the Temple Eye from her, which will help you get back to the Temple Gate checkpoint when you die while solving the puzzles inside.

Room 1 Puzzle

Head to the -5237, -1757, -9622 coordinates. Once here, you’ll find three sets of stepping stones with symbols (Triangle, Square, and Circle) etched on them. Move in the following order across the stepping stones.

If you follow the order mentioned above, you’ll reach the room’s end. Grab the Glyph Rune and Poisonous Spearhead from here.

Room 2 Puzzle

Reach the -4612, -1757, and -10170 coordinates. You’ll find a large gate in front of the room with markings. Stand close to it and press W+A or W+D to gain access to this door. As soon as you enter the room, start completing the parkour challenges and climb up the ladder. Toxic water starts filling up the room, and delaying will cause you to touch the water and die. However, if you can reach the top before the water fills up, you can claim the Toxic Core and the Toxic Rune.

Room 3 Puzzle

This one is located at -5404, -1759, -10229 coordinates. Inside the room, beware of the spikes on either side. Getting struck by them is an instant death sentence. Besides that, simply follow the given directions to reach the end of the room.

Grab the Barbed Spearhead and the Spiked Rune from this room.

Room 4 Puzzle

Proceed to the -5174, -1757, and -10349 coordinates. Enter the room and avoid interacting with the vines hanging from the ceiling here. Doing so will cause instant death. Instead, proceed further into the room and climb the big tree at the end. Now go back using the Advanced Glider or just jump back. There’s an invisible surface where you’ll land. Jump further to grab the Vine Rune and the Vine Line.

Room 5 Puzzle

This room is at -4851, -1759, -9550 coordinates. Entering the room reveals that it’s filled with water, and on the other side of the water sits the rune. Trying to cross the water directly will kill you instantly. Instead, there’s an invisible path that you’ll have to follow to get there.

The map of this invisible path is etched on the ceiling above you. Carefully follow the path and walk across, while keeping a close watch on the map above. It’s a tedious and slow process that should eventually take you all the way to the Murky Thread and the Water Rune.

How To Use the Forgotten Temple Runes in Fisch

Once you’ve collected all five runes, use the Temple Eye to teleport back to the Temple Gate. You might have already noticed pedestals of various colors beside the locked gate. You will now have to place the correct runes in each of these pedestals. Firstly, place all five runes in your hotbar, and then place them in the following manner.

Light Grey Pedestal: Glyph Rune
Dark Grey Pedestal: Spiked Rune
Light Green Pedestal: Toxic Rune
Dark Green Pedestal: Vine Rune
Blue Pedestal: Water Rune

Once you place all of them in the correct places, the huge locked gate will open. Through it, you can gain access to Mossjaw Rest. The pool of water here shares the bestiary with Jungle Island. However, you can only fish for the secret and exotic creatures here. So, this is where you’ll be able to catch the secret Elder Mossjaw and the exotic Mossjaw.
