Enter the battle arena and defeat The Oppressor in a boss fight in Borderlands 4 and win special legendary weapons as drop rewards.
The Oppressor is the fourth boss in the main campaign of Borderlands 4. This boss prefers to stay in the sky and launch attacks at you from a safe distance. It can shoot from any direction while periodically sending out a flurry of missile attacks. Out of the list of all boss battles in Borderlands 4, this one is one of the most time-consuming and requires patience. At the end of the battle, you will receive one of three legendary weapon drops.

The Oppressor Boss Battle Location in Borderlands 4
To encounter the Oppressor boss battle in Borderlands 4, you will need to play through the ‘A Lot To Process’ mission. You will find this located at The Killing Floors in Dissected Plateau, part of the Fadefields region.

There are four different types of attacks that The Oppressor will use against you. One is a base shower of yellow projectiles from above, another involves standard missiles, a third attack launches missiles that shatter into mini projectiles, and the last sends a line of bombs dropped your way. There are plenty of areas you can use for cover to avoid direct hits. As long as you stay away from the line of fire and shoot at it whenever an opening appears, you can conquer this boss battle.
After completing the fight, you can choose to replay the mission to try your luck with other legendary weapon drops. To do this, locate Moxxi’s Big Encore Machine in the mission area. You can also use the Second Wind feature to get a second chance at the battle. However, a certain condition must be fulfilled for this feature to activate. During the battle, keep at least a few enemies alive. Once you enter a downed state, shoot and eliminate one of them to come back to life with critical health but a fully recharged shield.
