This guide will help you attain the Unrivaled Strength trophy in Digimon Story Time Stranger, which might be tough to attain early on.
Unrivaled Strength is one of the 46 achievements in Digimon Story Time Stranger. On PlayStation, it is classified as a silver trophy, making it one of the rarer achievements in the game. Therefore, if you want to collect the Platinum trophy for the game, this is one of many challenges you must overcome.
Although the challenge itself isn’t particularly hard to get throughout your playthrough, it will take a long time to get it. You are not expected to get this achievement early on, so don’t sweat about it until you at least get an Ultimate or Mega Digimon of your own.
How To Get Unrivaled Strength Trophy in Digimon Story Time Stranger
The description for this achievement is as follows:
“Defeat an enemy of Ultimate or greater Generation with a single DigiAttack.” Both straightforward and simple.
In case you are unaware, Digimon are categorized into several different Generations depending on their stage of growth. Digimon from a lower Generation Digivolve into Digimon of a higher Generation. For most Digimon, there are a total of six different Generations, those being:
- In-Training I
- In-Training II
- Rookie
- Champion
- Ultimate
- Mega
Apart from these, there are two special Generations that are separate from this standard progression of Generations. These are the Armor and Hybrid Generations. There is also sometimes a seventh Generation called Ultra, referred to as Mega+ in Time Stranger. These are the strongest of all the Digimon.
How To Defeat an Ultimate Digimon with a Single DigiAttack
To get this achievement, you have to defeat at least an Ultimate Generation Digimon in a single attack. As you can see from the above ranking, Ultimate Digimon are at the higher end of power among Digimon. And so, defeating one with a single move is not that easy.
The best way to get this trophy is to overlevel your own Digimon. Do this until their stats are significantly higher than an enemy Ultimate Digimon. This will make it easier to get a one-shot. Make sure to align your attribute, element and the enemy’s weakness to maximise your damage. After a certain point in the game’s progression, you should have enough power that this achievement is not too difficult.
