Nioh 3, the highly anticipated third entry in Team Ninja’s souls-like action RPG series, finally has a release date. Announced earlier this year, Nioh 3 aims to continue the legacy of its predecessors while also introducing some new ideas to the table. The game is built on the foundations of Nioh 2. However, it does feature a few new mechanics, such as quick switching between two different playstyles, open-ended levels, and more.

Much like Team Ninja’s most recent title, Rise of the Ronin, Nioh 3 is a PlayStation console exclusive. However, the game will also be available on PC on the same day as PS5. Here’s everything you need to know about Nioh 3, including its pre-order details, editions, pricing, and more.

Nioh 3 is scheduled to be released on February 6, 2026. The game is coming to PlayStation 5 (PS5) and Windows PC (via Steam). Similar to previous Team Ninja releases, Nioh 3 doesn’t have any early access incentive for pre-ordering. However, if you purchase the Digital Deluxe Edition of the game, you will get “early” access to the post-launch DLCs. There are two story DLCs planned for Nioh 3.

However, details on said DLCs are yet to be revealed. Furthermore, much like the previous Nioh games, Nioh 3 isn’t planned for release on Xbox Series consoles. That might change in the future. However, given that the publication of the Nioh series is in part funded by SIE (Sony Interactive Entertainment), it’s highly unlikely.
