Take on the second last stage of the Wildcards challenges, eliminate the bosses, and unlock the Ultimate Vault Hunter Rank 5 in Borderlands 4.
Ultimate Vault Hunter Rank 4 unlocks as soon as you reach Rank 3. The difficulty of the challenges increases at this rank, with four different bosses for you to defeat. These include Battle Wagon, Mimicron, Boneface, and, last but not least, Skull Orchid. After completing these, you will receive guidance from Moxxi on what to do next.

How To Unlock Ultimate Vault Hunter Rank 4 in Borderlands 4
You can expect the following increases in difficulty and reward quality when attempting to unlock Ultimate Vault Hunter Rank 4:

To unlock Ultimate Vault Hunter Rank 4, you will need to complete the following challenges:
Draggin’ Wagon
You can find the first boss, Battle Wagon, at the Lowering March Drill Site in Stoneblood Forest, located in the region of Terminus Range. After eliminating all the Ripper enemies in the area, Battle Wagon will appear. One key weakness to remember is that incendiary damage will significantly weaken it, so keep weapons with elemental damage handy. This boss uses rock projectiles at range, so dodge, attack, and finish the job.
But What If… You Were The Fake?
The second boss, Mimicron, can be found at Tipping Point, situated at Odolator’s Noose in the region of Fadefields. Mimicron focuses heavily on melee combat and constantly tries to close the gap between you. The boss periodically summons mini enemies called Mimics and will enter a state of invisibility at times. Weapons such as Shock and Cryo will be effective against its shield. You can also use corrosive damage against its armor. Defeat this boss to move on to the next stage.
Who Named This Guy
The next boss in line is Saddleback and Immortal Boneface. You will find them at Cupsid Climb House, which is a Ripper Drill Site in the region of Terminus Range. As soon as you defeat all the Rippers in the area, the Immortal Boneface will emerge along with Saddleback. Using Shock elemental damage is a must to help break his defenses and put him in a vulnerable state. You can then finish the job with the help of Incendiary damage and burn them to the ground.
Bloom Bloom
The last boss battle to unlock Rank 4 will be against Skull Orchid. This boss is located at Embossed Fault Auger Mine in the region of Carcadia Burn. Compared to Boneface, this boss is relatively easy. Incendiary damage works effectively against Skull Orchid and helps you complete the final stage of the Wildcards missions.
After you complete these challenges, return to Lilith. Over here, complete the ‘Her Flaming Vision’ Wildcard mission and the ‘More Ultimater Vault Hunter’ Mission. Doing this will help you progress to Ultimate Vault Hunter Rank 4 in Borderlands 4.
