What Does It Do: Ghost Bear Pet Trait
The Ghost Bear is one of the few ways to get the Spooky Mutation. Once you have it equipped in your garden, the pet will occasionally go up to a random plant and give it the Spooky Mutation. Here is a full breakdown of how it works:
- Boo!: The Ghost Bear’s pet trait triggers every ~20 minutes. Each time, the pet will scare a random plant in your garden, giving it the Spooky Mutation.
Plants that get the Spooky Mutation emit small ghostly particles and also get an 8x value boost. What’s more, you can also submit affected crops at the Jack-O-Lantern that appears during the Garden Ghoul event to get rewards.

How To Get the Ghost Bear
As of the current patch, the only way to get the Ghost Bear is from the Ghoul Garden Event Shop called Creepy Critters. Every hour during the Halloween event, three shops selling spooky crops, pets, and cosmetics appear at the center of the map. They only appear for 10 minutes per hour and have limited stock.
