Players get to unlock the Digifarm and go to the In-Between Theater in ‘The Time Stranger’ mission in Digimon Story Time Stranger.
The Time Stranger is the fifth mission in Digimon Story Time Stranger. This quest takes us to various locations in Shinjuku, including the In-Between Theater. In addition to that, players also get to meet Inori Misono’s father and visit the In-Between Theater with the receptionist Mirei Mikagura.
Other than that, the mission is quite brief and features some light investigation. However, it also allows players to unlock the Digifarm, a crucial aspect of the game. Here we walk you through ‘The Time Stranger’ quest in Digimon Story Time Stranger.

Speak to Inori’s Father
Once the The Time Stranger mission begins in Digimon Story Time Stranger, the protagonist will wake up, and then you must go to the living room of the building. There, speak to Inori. She will give you a brief description of the room allotment in the house and then tell you that her dad, who’s a detective, wants to talk to you.
To find the detective in question, you must go to the office. Inori then tells you the direction to follow to get there before heading off to school, which is out the front door and one floor down. More specifically, simply exit the house, go down the stairs, and then take a right to find the office.

Reach the In-Between Theater
Inori’s father’s name is Kosuke Misono, and after speaking to him, you will need to go down to the Shinjuku Station’s Jubancho Intersection. Simply follow the quest marker to reach the underground station. Then, get out of the other side of said station and go towards the southwest to find the Taxi Stand in the Seibuku-Shinjuku Overbridge Intersection.
After that, you will have to do a little more walking and running to reach the marked location, which is the Shinjuku Park: Waterfall Plaza. There, you will get a call from your Operator during a brief cutscene. Then, your object will be to find ‘A Certain Back Alley’ in the Shinjuku area. You can follow the quest marker to get there. Once you do, look for the highlighted area with the bright light and enter the In-Between Theater.
Return to the Misono Household
At the west side of the room, you will find a receptionist with glasses and distinct purple hair. This is the point in the game where players unlock the Digifarm. It is a great way to earn EXP and Materials for your Digimon in a passive manner. After handling yet another call from the Operator, leave the Theater and return to the Misono Household’s attic. There, you will get the option to change your costume by interacting with the Cloth Rack. Then the Time Stranger mission in Digimon Story Time Stranger ends.
