The League of Legends Worlds 2025 format consists of three stages: Play-In Stage, Swiss Stage, and Knockout Stage. The format of each stage is as follows:

2 Teams participate.
Matches follow a best-of-five format.
Winner Goes to the Swiss Stage
Swiss Stage:
16 Teams participate (Pre-qualified 15 + Winner of the Play-In stage)
Each team gets five rounds with Swiss Style format. Rematches in the Swiss Stage are not allowed.
Matchups will be created only at the end of each round.
Teams with three wins go to the Knockout Stage directly. Teams with three losses get eliminated.
