While the first two were pre-existing Megas, Victreebel is the first new Mega Evolution you have to face as a Rogue Mega Evolution. How To Defeat the Rogue Mega Victreebel in Pokemon Legends Z-A
Lida informs you that a Victreebel in the Magenta district has high concentrations of Mega Energy around it. But you are not going to have to face this Rogue Mega Evolution by itself. Naveen will be joining you as a partner for this battle. So it’s up to the two of you to stop this Rogue Mega Victreebel from going on a rampage.
Defeat the Rogue Mega Victreebel
Victreebel acts as a bit of a mixed attacker, capable of attacking both on the physical and special sides. After Mega Evolution, this remains the case, except it hits much harder than before. Its Attack stat goes from 105 to 125, while its Special Attack stat goes from 100 to 135. However, its Speed remains the same at base 70. Mega Victreebel has four weaknesses for you to exploit: Fire, Ice, Psychic, and Flying.
If you picked Tepig as your starter, Mega Emboar is a great help in this fight. Alternate Fire-type picks include Mega Camerupt if you completed that mission first or Mega Houndoom if you purchased the Houndoomite. For Flying-type options, go for Mega Pidgeot, while Mega Alakazam is a great Psychic-type choice.
Once you defeat the Rogue Mega Victreebel, you will get the Mega Stone Victreebelite. This will let you Mega Evolve your own Victreebel later. Once you collect the Mega Stone, the mission is complete.
