Learn how to unlock, use, and upgrade Instinct and Instinct V2 in Blox Fruits easily with this step-by-step guide.
Instinct (earlier called Observation) is a powerful ability in Blox Fruits that helps you dodge attacks and see enemies through walls. Once activated, you can spot enemies, bosses, and players based on color: red for enemies, green for allies, and white for others. Instinct becomes very useful once you reach the mid-game in the First Sea, giving you a big advantage in both PvE and PvP fights.

How To Get Instinct in Blox Fruits
To unlock Instinct, you must meet a few basic requirements before talking to the Instinct Teacher NPC, the requirements are:
- Reach Level 300 or higher
- Complete the Saber Puzzle
- Have $750,000 Beli
Once done, visit the Instinct Teacher located at Upper Skylands (First Sea) and purchase the ability. After activation, press E (PC), Left D-Pad (Controller), or the Eye button (Mobile) to toggle Instinct.
Instinct Level System
Instinct gives you dodge charges that let you avoid attacks automatically. The number of dodges and your visual range improve as you level it up by dodging enemy attacks. Each dodge earns you EXP.

You can check your EXP or current level by talking to the Instinct Teacher. Once you hit Level 7 (5,000 EXP), you’ll also get the #072 “Ultra Instinct” title.
How To Get Instinct V2
Instinct V2 is the upgraded version with better range, faster recharge, and more player info visibility.
Requirements for Instinct V2:
- Reach Level 1800
- Max out Instinct V1 (5,000 EXP)
- Complete Citizen’s Quest and get the Musketeer Hat
- Have $5,000,000 Beli
Once ready, head to Floating Turtle Island (Third Sea) and talk to the Hungry Man NPC to upgrade.
Instinct V2 Abilities
Instinct V2 improves your awareness and reaction speed in battle. Here’s what changes:
- Wider detection range
- Dodges recharge every 40 seconds (faster than V1’s 50s)
