The developers thought it would be prudent to include Goomy, Sliggoo, and Goodra in the roster, and catching them will require some effort. Nevertheless, having these three Pokemon is an achievement in itself.

Finding Goomy, Sliggoo, and Goodra in Pokemon Legends Z-A
If you are looking for Goomy, your best chance to find one is on the southeast side of Lumiose City. It is worth noting that this Pokemon will only spawn when it rains, meaning you may not have much luck visiting the Wildzones when it is bright and sunny. Here is a breakdown of where you can best find this Pokemon variant:
- On the rooftops of Vert Sector 9, while it is raining.
- In the sewer systems.
- Alpha Goomy will spawn next to the fountain on Vert Sector 8 near Wild Zone 1.
Evolution Is Required To Get Sliggoo and Goodra
While you can use evolution items on your Goomy to evolve it into a Sliggoo, you can also find one near bodies of water. With your Goomy, you can always choose the traditional method of evolving by grinding XP to reach level 40. This will make your Pokemon stronger and better in every way possible.
Similar to Goomy, this variant only spawns when it rains. Finding one can take some time, so it would be wise to use benches to rest and to speed up time. Lastly, Goodra is the third and final evolution form of Goomy. Players in Pokemon Legends Z-A will need to gain more XP to reach level 50. However, there are other requirements.
To evolve your Sliggoo into a Goodra, it must also be raining. You can sit around and wait until it starts pouring in the overworld, and that is how you get the final form.
