This Pokemon Legends Z-A walkthrough will take you through the ‘I’d Like To See an Ekans!’ side quest in the game.
Pokemon Legends Z-A has a ton of side quests for you to find and complete, with “I’d Like To See an Ekans!” being one of the earliest ones you can find. In this quest, you find a little girl who loves the Pokemon Ekans. The catch, however, is that she’s never seen this Pokemon. The little girl’s mother deems Wild Zones dangerous, further cutting her chances of seeing the snake-like creature.
Thankfully, the little girl has you to help. In this quest, your job is to find an Ekans and bring it to her to see. The quest is fairly short and simple, but if you’re having any trouble playing through it, this guide will walk you through it.
How To Begin I’d Like to See an Ekans! in Pokemon Legends Z-A
Before you can begin this quest, you have to unlock it first by progressing through the story and completing Main Mission 5. Once you’re done with this mission, head over to Ismene in Magenta Sector 1. Talk to Ismene, and she will tell you of her fascination with Ekans.
Ismene is curious about Ekans and wishes to know more. She wonders what the Pokemon looks like. Does it have a long body? Does it have a long tail? She’d have all the answers she seeks, but her mom has prohibited her from going near any Wild Zone. Wrap this conversation up to begin the quest.

How To Complete I’d Like to See an Ekans! in Pokemon Legends Z-A
Ismene wishes to see what an Ekans looks like, and since she can’t go near any Wild Zone, your job is to find an Ekans and bring it to her. Head over to Wild Zone 4, which is on the northernmost end of the map, right near the border.
Enter the park, and you’ll find Ekans prowling about on the left of the area. Use your Pokeball to catch the Pokemon. If he resists, you’ll have to knock him out to catch him. Once you have the Pokemon captured, add him to your party and exit the park.
Make your way back to Ismene in the Magenta Sector 1 and press the A button to talk to her. This will then trigger a cutscene where you place Ekans on the ground for her. The little girl, scared yet fascinated, will then pet the Pokemon. This will bring the side mission to a close, rewarding you with 500 Poke Dollars, 3x Pecha Berry, 3x Cheri Berry, and 1x Soda Pop.
