Pokemon Legends Z-A has a ton of Pokemon for you to find, but if you’re seeking one that flies, very few come close to Skarmory. Skarmory is a Flying and Steel-type Pokemon that hits like a truck, all while soaring through the sky. This is one of the best Pokemon in the game, and is fairly difficult to find for that very reason.

Skarmory’s Location in Pokemon Legends Z-A
You find Skarmory in the Wild Zone 17 region of Lumiose City. If you don’t know where this is, it is on the southern end of the map, close to the border, right next to Vert Sector 7. Head to this Wild Zone, but do so without drawing any attention. Stick to the footpath and walk past all the Pokemon.
Take the stairs heading up to reach the upper platform, and you’ll spot Skarmory flying in the air. Look ahead of you, however, you’ll find a bunch of Pyroar. There are a lot of them, and they’re incredibly difficult to deal with. They’ll spam Earth Power over and over, making it difficult to capture Skarmory. For this reason, we suggest coming at night when the pride is asleep. Walk past them and take the ladder to climb the building to your left.
When you’re up top, the flying Skarmory will be level with you. Use a Quick Ball to try to capture it. There’s a low chance of doing so, but this should successfully draw the creature’s attention. The Skarmory will come to the roof to fight you. Fight this creature here and beat it. You can then try to capture it. Skarmory is incredibly difficult to catch, so it will take a few tries before you can capture it. Keep trying till you successfully lock it in the Poke Ball to capture it.
