The Halloween event in Grow a Garden has returned with new rewards, pets, plants and the spooky Grave Digger minigame. Part 2 of the Ghoul Garden event is now live, featuring pets like the Hex Serpent and Goblin, along with new items and activities. Players can dig up treasures, earn Candy Corns, and grab rare items from the Dead Tree and Halloween Market.

How the Grave Digger Minigame Works in Grow a Garden
The Grave Digger NPC, named Doug Graves, appears every two hours and lets you join the digging event. When the minigame starts, you’ll click on tiles to uncover hidden rewards like seeds, trinkets, and pets. Each click uses one dig, and you start with 10 digs by default. Once those are used up, you’ll need to refill them to keep playing.
How To Get More Digs
You can refill or earn more digs in three ways:
- Wait 5 minutes for a free refill that gives 1 dig.
- Use a Dig Trinket, which grants an extra dig per use.
- Spend 59 Robux to instantly get 5 more digs.
Each tomb usually holds several rewards, so using Dig Trinkets or Robux can help you make the most of each event cycle.
How To Get and Use the Dig Trinket
The Dig Trinket is a mythical item that increases your digs by one per use. It can only be obtained from the Halloween Gear Box, which is available at the Ghostly Gadgets Shop in the Halloween Market. You can buy the box for 30 Candy Corns or 159 Robux, or earn it through event rewards.
When you open a Gear Box, there’s a 23.91% chance of getting a Dig Trinket. To use it, simply equip it from your inventory and click anywhere on your screen during the Grave Digger event to add one dig.
