Learn how to obtain Litwick, Lampent, and Chandelure in Pokémon Legends Z-A, including unlocking Mega Chandelure.
Litwick is an elusive Fire/Ghost-type Pokemon that isn’t found in any of the Wild Zones in Pokemon Legends Z-A. You have a small window to capture the candle-like Pokemon during a main story mission.
However, its evolved form, Lampent, is a nocturnal Pokemon available for capture following late-game main missions. The final evolution, Chandelure, is capable of Mega Evolution, making it a valuable asset in your roster.
Pokemon Legends Z-A: How To Find Litwick
Litwick is exclusively found in the Lumiose Sewers during Main Mission 19: Reaching Rank D. After completing the mission, you can return to the Sewers by heading through the path between the buildings in Bleu Sector 3. However, to do so, you must have completed Side Mission 57, The Camerupt Entrepreneur. Once you find Litwick, capturing it is as simple as throwing a Poke Ball at it.
Pokemon Legends Z-A: How To Find Lampent
You can find Lampent on the western side of Wild Zone 17 at night. To unlock Wild Zone 17, you must complete Main Mission 24, reaching Rank C. There is a small chance that you will encounter Alpha Lampent in the Wild Zone. You can also gather XP with Litwick until it reaches level 41 and then evolve it into Lampent.

Pokemon Legends Z-A: How To Find Chandelure
The final evolution, Chandelure, can only be found in Wild Zone 20, which is unlocked after completing all Main Missions. Chandelure spawns both during the day and at night. Before capturing it, you must lower its health. It is weak to Water, Ground, Rock, Ghost, and Dark-type attacks.
To get Chandelure sooner, you must evolve Lampent using a Dusk Stone. This is the preferred path to obtaining a Chandelure since Wild Zone 20 is locked behind the main story’s completion. Purchase a Dusk Stone for 3,000 Poke Dollars at the Stone Emporium and use it on Lampent to evolve it into Chandelure.

Pokemon Legends Z-A: How To Get Mega Chandelure
To get Mega Chandelure, you must unlock Chandelure’s Mega Evolution by using Chandelurite on the Pokemon. Purchase Chandelurite from the Quasartico Inc. headquarters for 360 Mega Shards. Chandelure can now evolve into Mega Chandelure during battle when the gauge in the bottom right is filled up.
