“To Keep The World In Balance” is the final main mission in Pokemon Legends Z-A, where you get to fight Lysandre and capture Zygarde. To obtain the mission, you must complete both previous main missions, which involve capturing Xerneas and Yveltal, the legendary Kalos Pokemon representing Life and Death.

How To Complete To Keep The World In Balance in Pokemon Legends Z-A
To start the quest, head to Hotel Z, which is located in the southeast corner of the map. Moreover, make sure you have caught both Xerneas and Yveltal to start the quest. Now, try to enter from the main entrance, during which Lysandre appears and stops you to talk about his past actions. Moreover, he requests to have a battle to have a better understanding of you as a Pokemon Trainer.
Note that Lysandre is the most powerful trainer in Pokemon Legends Z-A, with all his Pokemon ranging from Level 78-80. Therefore, it is important you train your Pokemon to at least Level 70 or above to have a proper chance at winning this fight. Here are his Pokemon:
Lysandre’s Team
His team consists of a total of six Pokemon with one that can Mega Evolve. Here are all of them:

For this fight, you should bring strong Pokemon with good base stats like Froslass, Gardevoir, and Dragonite. These three Pokemon not only have good Super Effective moves against Lysandre’s Pokemon, but can also Mega Evolve to have a boost during battle. Note that Mega Gyarados has very high stats, meaning you might have to use healing items after every one of its attacks.
After you defeat Lysandre, Zygarde appears in his 10% form and disappears quickly. Lysandre states that Zygarde seems to be calling you towards the Prism Tower. Now, teleport to the Pokemon Center above the Prism Tower and heal your Pokemon. Moreover, this is your final opportunity to buy items for the fight against Zygarde, as high-tier healing items can cost a lot, making each attempt very costly.

Defeat Zygarde in Pokemon Legends Z-A
To fight Zygarde and finish the mission, head to the underneath of the Prism Tower and talk to it. Make sure your team is ready before you start the fight, as Zygarde is Level 84 and has Dragon/Ground typing, making it the strongest Pokemon that you can capture in the game. Moreover, this is a three-phase battle, where you have to fight all of its forms. Here are all of them:
- Zygarde 10%: Zygarde starts off in its smallest form, which does not pose any threat at all. You can spam your strongest attacks to quickly deal with it. Bring its health down to zero to transition to the next phase.
- Zygarde 50%: In this form, Zygarde uses a strong AoE attack and gains a bit more health. However, you can still defeat it quite easily with some Super Effective moves.
- Complete Forme Zygarde: This is the final form of Zygarde, where it is capable of wiping out your Pokemon in one single move. It not only gains a lot more health, but also has access to every of its signature moves. Its main attack is Core Enforcer, where Zygarde flies high up in the air and shoots a Z-shaped laser on the ground.
Note that Zygarde heals up every time you defeat one of its form. Therefore, this fight can take quite some time depending on your Pokemon. It is recommended to bring Gardevoir and Froslass to the fight, as both has access to powerful Ice and Fairy moves.
End of Pokemon Legends Z-A Main Story
Finally, after you defeat Complete Forme Zygarde, it stands still in one place for you to catch it. This is the perfect opportunity to pick your favourite type of Pokeball and throw it at Zygarde to capture it. Lysandre appears after the fight and gives you the Zygarde Cube, which you can use to change Zygarde’s form and also Mega Evolve it during battles. This also concludes the mission, marking the end of the main story in Pokemon Legends Z-A.
