Developed by Team Ninja and PlatinumGames, Ninja Gaiden 4 is an old-school action game, akin to Devil May Cry or PlatinumGames’ own Bayonetta franchise. When Can You Pre-Load Ninja Gaiden 4?
Pre-load for Ninja Gaiden 4 is currently live on all platforms, i.e., PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (via Steam). Furthermore, if you have an active Xbox Game Pass (console and PC) subscription active, you can also pre-load the game ahead of its October 21, 2025 release. That said, it should be noted that day one games are only available on the Ultimate tier subscription of Xbox Game Pass.
What Is the Download Size of Ninja Gaiden 4 on All Platforms?
On PC, Ninja Gaiden 4 takes up roguhly 55 GB of storage. On Xbox Series X|S, the game’s file size is roughly 35 GB. And lastly, on PS5, Ninja Gaiden 4 takes up roughly 26 GB of space. It should be noted that Team Ninja and publisher Xbox Game Studios highly recommends installing the game on an SSD (on PC). That said, since it’s built using PlatinumGames’ proprietary engine, Ninja Gaiden 4 is playable from a HDD as well.

No, there’s no early access incentive for pre-ordering Ninja Gaiden 4. However, if you pre-purchase the game, you will get access to exclusive costumes for Yakumo and Ryu.
