Escape from Duckov is the latest title from developers Team Soda, which is a parody game of the well-known Escape from Tarkov. It has seen immense popularity in recent weeks, with more and more players showing up every day, which resulted in Duckov becoming one of the top-selling games on Steam.
So naturally, many players are wondering if the game features a Co-op or Multiplayer mode and if they can play with their friends. The answer is no, Escape from Duckov does not have any PVP or Co-op modes. It is a completely PVE single-player experience.
Does Escape From Duckov have a Multiplayer Mode?
Despite being a parody of the popular extraction shooter Escape from Tarkov, Escape From Duckov does not feature a PVP mode or any multiplayer mode for that matter. It is purely a single-player, PVE experience that emphasizes exploration and self-contained fun.
In the game, you get to play as a Duck awakened in the world of Duckov. On top of being single-player, Escape from Duckov is also a top-down shooter in contrast with its FPS counterpart, Tarkov. After that, the formula is quite simple: you will have to explore the huge map, find loot and other valuable items, and upgrade your hideout, and while doing so, you will encounter other hostile ducks.
To have a fair fight, you must also collect better weapons and improve your base of operations. Due to the top-down perspective of the game, learning movement and mastering the shooting mechanics will take a significant amount of time, even more so for players who are used to FPS. Furthermore, the fact that you won’t be able to party up with other players or your friends makes the entire experience even more challenging.

Could There Be a Multiplayer Mode for Escape from Duckov in the Future?
As of now, the developer Team Soda has not expressed any interest in adding a multiplayer mode for Escape from Duckov. However, the game does support mods via Steam’s workshop. According to reports, the community around Escape from Duckov is already developing a multiplayer mod for the game.
Reddit user u/yesswu also shared a post on r/EscapeFromDuckov that the multiplayer mod in question is going through a beta testing phase as of now, and according to the post, anyone can participate in it. In addition to that, the mod will also feature friendly fire, and there won’t be any option to revive fallen teammates. So far, this has been the only effort for a multiplayer mode in Escape from Duckov that we know of.
