Players can claim several new Rods in Fisch FischFright update, which is a Halloween-themed event that’s currently underway. The event introduces the Crook’s Hallow Island too, which you can visit if you want to claim the event specific rewards, including the brand new Rods. With that in mind, here’s a detailed guide that explores all the new Rods, their stats, and how you can get your hands on them.

How To Get All New Rods in Fisch FischFright Update

The event introduces four new Rods that players can acquire in Fisch. Here are the details about each of them.

Bat Whisperer Rod

The Bat Whisperer Rod has the following stats:

Luck: 96%
Speed: 86%
Resilience: 30%
Control: 0.15
Maximum Weight: 200,000kg

The Passive of this Rod causes a swarm of bats to appear every time you use it to fish. The bats will catch a fish every 30 seconds and each of these catches will have the Batty Mutation. This mutation increases the fish’s value by 3x.

Speak with the Flying Dutchman NPC on Moosewood Island to purchase this Rod from him for 10,000 Candy.

Dusekkar Rod

The Dusekkar Rod comes with the following stats:

Luck: 166%
Speed: 80%
Resilience: 80%
Control: 0.05
Maximum Weight: 700,000kg

The Rod has two Passives. The first one increases the likelihood of catching a fish with the Nightmare Mutation when fishing with this Rod. The mutation increases the fish’s value by 16x. The second passive improves the Progress Speed of the fishing minigame by 25% when using the Dusekkar Rod.

Like the Bat Whisperer Rod, you can get the Dusekkar Rod from the Flying Dutchman NPC on Moosewood Island. You can purchase the Rod in question for 25,000 Candy.

Jack-o-Blazer Rod

The Jack-o-Blazer Rod has these stats:

Luck: 66.6%
Speed: 96%
Resilience: 66%
Control: 0.16
Maximum Weight: Infinite

The Passives for the Rod increases your chances of catching fish with the Wicked and Jack’s Curse Mutations by 20% and 2%, respectively. With the Wicked Mutation, a fish’s value increases by 6.6x. On the other hand, Jack’s Curse mutated fish sell for 16.6x their original values.

You will need to complete the Headless Horseman questline on Crook’s Hallow Island before you can claim the Jack-o-Blazer Rod from him. Even so, you’ll need to spend 5000 Candy to get it.

Spooky Rod

The Spooky Rod has the following stats:

Luck: 66%
Speed: 75%
Resilience: -10%
Control: 0.2
Maximum Weight: 150,000kg

The Rod also has the following Passives:

10% increase in chances of grabbing a fish with the Spooky Mutation, which raises its value by 6x.
10% increase in chances of grabbing a fish with the Frightful Mutation, which raises its value by 6x.
10% increase in chances of grabbing a fish with the Eerie Mutation, which raises its value by 6x.
Every second, the Rod offers a 50% chance of increasing fishing minigame Progress Speed by 4%.
50% chance of fish to become Frozen, further improving Progress Speed by 5%.

Head to Crook’s Hallow Island and deposit at least 10 of the Witch’s missing items inside her cauldron to grab the Spooky Rod. You will need to locate the evil goblin first, who’s stolen the items. Next, complete a set of challenges to retrieve the Witch’s stuff from him and drop them into her cauldron.
