Main Mission 26: An Invitation from the SBC in Pokemon Legends Z-A begins outside a high-end boutique in Lumiose City. Following your remarkable performance at the Z-A Royale, the Society of Battle Connoisseurs (SBC) has invited you to a tournament. The mission leads you deeper into the city’s elite circle with a twist at the end to subvert expectations.
Pokemon Legends Z-A: An Invitation from the SBC Guide
Starting Location
To begin An Invitation from the SBC, head to the Boutique Couture on Vernal Avenue. It is located south of the Stone Emporium, and the avenue is situated between Wild Zone 1 and Wild Zone 12. As you approach the boutique’s entrance, you’ll meet Urbain and Naveen, who reveal that the store doesn’t sell it to just anyone.
Asami, a fashion designer at the boutique, appears and challenges you to a Pokemon Battle. She promises you a free outfit if you can beat her with a Mega Pokemon.
Defeat Asami with Mega-Evolved Pokemon
Asami will use a Florges for the battle, a Fairy-type Pokemon weak to Poison and Steel. However, the main challenge is to end the battle with a Mega-Evolved Pokemon. Having battled multiple Rogue Mega enemies, you will have access to several Mega Evolutions at this point in the story. Any Mega-Evolved Pokemon will easily beat Florges before its evolution time runs out.
The best way to ensure you meet Asami’s condition is to have your Pokemon’s Mega Evolution bar full before the battle begins. Fight wild Pokemon or complete a side mission to fill up the bar before interacting with Asami and beginning the battle. Mega-Evolve your Pokemon and use it to defeat Florges. Asami will be awed by the battle and give you a free set of refined clothes.

Enter Hotel Richissime
Fast-travel to Wild Zone 4 and head northeast to reach Hotel Richissime, located at the edge of the map in Rogue District. Enter the hotel and speak with Levanne. Just as you are introduced to the contestants of the tournament by Jacinthe, the host, Urbain receives a call about Rouge Mega Pokemon, and you anticlimactically leave the venue.
Return to Hotel Z
Fast-travel to Hotel Z, which is located northeast of Wild Zone 1. Head inside and speak with Lida to start the Team MZ strategy meeting. Jacinthe somehow infiltrates the meeting to try and bring you back to her tournament, but is turned down again. The meeting creates three branching main missions to defeat Rogue Mega Pokemon:
- Main Mission 27: A Rogue Mega Froslass
- Main Mission 28: A Rogue Mega Altaria
- Main Mission 29: A Rogue Mega Venusaur
