Learn how to complete Main Mission 27: A Rogue Mega Froslass in Pokemon Legends Z-A, including reaching the mission location.
Following introductions with the SBC in the previous mission, Main Mission 27: A Rogue Mega Froslass pits you against the Mega Ice/Ghost-type Pokemon to protect Lumiose City. Assist Naveen in defeating the Rogue Mega Froslass and claim its Mega Stone to strengthen your roster.
Pokemon Legends Z-A: A Rogue Mega Froslass Mission Guide
Starting Location
To begin A Rogue Mega Froslass, travel to the quest marker on a rooftop on the western side of Vernal Avenue, just south of the Stone Emporium. However, the rooftop access point isn’t close to the quest marker’s location. Instead, you will have to climb the rooftop using a construction site located northwest of the Pokemon Center beside Cafe Classe, just north of Wild Zone 12.
To reach the starting location of A Rogue Mega Froslass:
- Fast travel to the Pokemon Center next to Cafe Classe.
- Move west down the street and turn right up the stairs to find a construction site.
- Alternatively, complete Side Mission 61: My Favorite Holovator opposite the construction site and use the Holovator to ascend to the rooftop.
- Climb the stairs, then the first ladder at the site.
- Roll or Roto-Glide to the platform behind you and climb the ladder there.
- Jump and Roto-Glide to the rooftop ahead.
- Climb and move south across the bridge connecting to the rooftops around Wild Zone 12.
- Destroy the ice crystal on the left side of the roof using a move such as Bite. This will create an ice bridge to the rooftops on the east.
- Use the same move on the ice crystal ahead, past the chairs and patio umbrellas.
- Cross the ice bridge and continue heading north to find Naveen and the Rogue Mega Froslass.

Rogue Mega Froslass Boss Fight
Rogue Mega Froslass is an Ice/Ghost-type Pokemon weak to:
- Fire
- Ghost
- Dark
- Rock
- Steel
The best way to defeat Rogue Mega Froslass is to use a Mega-Evolved Pokemon that can use moves with any of the elements mentioned above. Collect the Mega Orbs that drop from Mega Froslass during the battle to quickly fill up your Mega Evolution meter.
Recommended Pokemon for the battle include:
- Sharpedo
- Aggron
- Houndoom
- Emboar
- Excadrill
A Rogue Mega Froslass Mission Reward
After defeating Rogue Mega Froslass and completing Main Mission 27, you will receive Froslassite. Froslass can evolve into Mega Froslass while holding the Froslassite Mega Stone. Have Froslass hold Froslassite to unlock its Mega Evolution.
