Hawlucha can be extremely troublesome to deal with even while equipped with the best possible moveset and nature in Pokemon Legends Z-A.

The Wrestling Pokemon, Hawlucha, is a Generation 6 Pokemon that received a new Mega Evolution within Legends Z-A. You can now use this Pokemon in ranked matches to great effect, due to its high Attack and Speed stats.

You can make this Fighting/Flying Pokemon even better with Mega Evolution, and using the below given moveset combined with a good nature.

Best Hawlucha Moveset in Pokemon Legends Z-A

Hawlucha is a speedy Physical attacker. Therefore, you should use these moves to get the best utility out of him:

• Flying Press
• Brick Break
• Swords Dance
• Close Combat

Flying Press is Hawlucha’s signature move and extremely useful for striking a Flying/Fighting type weakness. On top of this, you can teach it Brick Break via TM. This is a really important move in this arsenal, as it breaks through the effects of Reflect and Light Screen.

Both of those moves are likely going to be seen in competitive matches. However, if you are aiming for a more casual approach, then you can consider replacing it with something like Aerial Ace or Brave Bird instead, for further Flying coverage.

You will definitely want an Adamant nature for Hawlucha. This is because Hawlucha benefits from its high Attack. Meanwhile, the Special Attack stat does nothing. The four moves suggested above are all Physical moves as well.

This means that raising Hawlucha’s Attack is a priority. This will come at the cost of its Special Attack. You can get an Adamant nature on Hawlucha by using an Adamant Mint.
