Trainers in Pokemon Legends Z-A can find, catch, and train Budew, Roselia, and Roserade. Follow this guide to catch them all.

Budew is the first step in this Grass-type Pokemon evolutionary lineup and is obtainable in Pokemon Legends Z-A. Unlike other evolutionary lines that require tedious training or level grinding, this one requires a bit more compassion and quality time. It is a fine example of treating Pokemon as companions rather than just fighters.
In this guide, we will look at how you can get your hands on a Budew and evolve it into a Roselia, then Roserade. Find out how to evolve them quickly in-game and learn about their benefits.

How To Get Budew, Roselia, and Roserade in Pokemon Legends Z-A

To get a Budew in Pokemon Legends Z-A, trainers can explore Wild Zone 2 and search in patches of grass. Most Wild Zones are locked behind story progression; however, trainers only need to finish the fifth mission to access this Wild Zone. We recommend using an Ultra Ball and staying out of their line of sight for a much easier catch.
Trainers can use this Budew to unlock the following evolutions. Roselia will require constant bonding to increase their friendship level. Here are some ways to speed up the process:
- Visit Cafes
- Giving vitamins
Once the friendship level is maxed out, Budew can evolve into Roselia. If you prefer to keep your Budew instead of evolving it, there is a longer alternative method. Trainers can catch a wild Roselia in Wild Zone 7. To acquire a Roserade, trainers will need a Shiny Stone, one of the many evolution items.
The Shiny Stone can be purchased from the Stone Emporium for 3000 Poke Dollars. Alternatively, a wild Roserade can be spotted at Wild Zone 20.
