Counters To Grisham’s Team

Due to Grisham being a very late game trainer, you have access to most powerful Pokemon around Lumiose for this battle. Moreover, before you challenge him, every one of your Pokemon should be at least Level 63 or above to avoid being knocked out in one shot. Therefore, taking account of his Pokemon weaknesses, three of them are weak to Ground types, and the other three are to Fairy types.
Most of Grisham’s Pokemon that are weak to Ground have heavy-hitting moves like Earthquake, which is a powerful Physical move. Therefore, it is recommended to bring at least two Pokemon with good Ground-type moves and one Fairy Pokemon. You team should have:
All three of these Pokemon can Mega Evolve and have access to varied movesets. Moreover, you can defeat three of Grisham’s Pokemon with Gardevoir using a Calm Mind and Draining Kiss combo. Additionally, both Camerupt and Garchomp have access to moves like Earth Power and Earthquake. Among all the Pokemon, Mega Evolving Gardevoir is the best option, as the extra boost to Special Attack can be very helpful.
Moves and Items
Lastly, Grisham relies heavily on powerful Physical moves such as Earthquake. Therefore, make sure to have Protect on some of your Pokemon to mitigate damage from these moves. Lastly, nearly all, if not most, of Grisham’s Pokemon moves can knock your Pokemon in one shot. Hence, it’s a good idea to carry a few Full Restores, Hyper Potions, and Revives to heal or revive your Pokemon during battle.
