This Pokemon Legends Z-A guide will help you find and acquire Kangaskhan, a mid-to-late game Pokemon in Lumiose City.
Pokemon Legends Z-A has a ton of Pokemon for you to find, but Kangaskhan is one seemingly elusive Pokemon that you probably can’t seem to find. Well, that’s for a reason, as Kangaskhan is a Pokemon you acquire fairly late on in the game, well past the halfway point.
If you’re looking to set up a solid roster for your mid-to-late-game fights, Kangaskhan is one Pokemon you can use. This is a Pokemon you can get in two different locations. In this guide, we shall list out both those locations, tell you how to get there, and help you capture the Pokemon.

Where To Find Kangaskhan in Pokemon Legends Z-A

You find Kangaskhan in Wild Zone 19. This is on the northeastern side of the map, right along the border of the city. You can get here by traveling to the Pokemon Center near Jaune Sector 8, and it’s a short walk from there. Take note that this is only available after you’re done with Main Mission 30: Reaching Rank B.
Walk up to the Wild Zone and press A to enter. You’ll find a Level 51 Kangaskhan walking about right in front of the gate. It’s difficult to capture it in its current state, so you’ll first have to defeat the creature. Use your Poke Ball to capture and acquire Kangaskhan.
Apart from Wild Zone 19, you can also try your luck acquiring the Pokemon in Wild Zone 20. Wild Zone 20 houses an Alpha Kangaskhan. This area is at the very center of the map and is difficult to miss. There is a Pokemon Center right next to it, which you can fast travel to to get here. Naturally, this is the harder way to obtain the Pokemon. The Alpha Kangaskhan is a Level 64 Pokemon, so you’ll have to match that level if you want any semblance of a fair fight. We suggest acquiring him in the first area if you’re at a lower level, but if you’re at the required level and feeling bold, feel free to pursue it here.
