The Roblox Halloween Spotlight is here, and to celebrate the Spooky season, players can get exclusive rewards by completing quests in the participating games, such as Fisch. You can get one Rune and one Key by completing two successive quests in the popular fishing simulator on Roblox. This article will explain everything you need to do to complete the Roblox Halloween Spotlight event in Fisch.
Halloween Spotlight Fisch Rune Guide
To get the Halloween Spotlight Rune in Fisch, you have to complete the first quest from the Pumpkin King NPC. You can find him standing near the center of Crook’s Hollow Island. This is the Halloween event island, which players can access by using the Frightful Mirror item from their inventory during FischFright 2025.
To complete the quest and get the Halloween Spotlight Fisch Rune, you have to do the following:
- Harvest three pumpkins
- Carve three pumpkins
- Give away the three carved pumpkins to three NPCs in the overworld
Harvesting Pumpkins
You can find pumpkins scattered around Crook’s Hollow. Particularly, you can find plenty at the location called the Pumpkin Patch. Go up to one and long-press E to harvest them.
Carving Pumpkins
You can carve the pumpkins at several carving stations on Crooks Hollow, as shown in the photo above. Long-press E or tap on mobile. Repeat the process till all three pumpkins are carved.
Giving Away the Carved Pumpkins
To get the Halloween Spotlight Fisch Rune, you have to find three NPCs in the overworld and give them the carved pumpkins. Use the Frightful Mirror to travel back to the First Sea. The NPCs will appear on the following islands:
- Moosewood: You can find the NPC standing beside the freshwater pond beside the merchant.
- Roslit Bay: The NPC is at the Roslit Hamlet near the docks.
- Sunstone Island: You can find the NPC in front of giant pumpkins to the right of the main docks on the central island.
In our testing, if another player gives one of the NPCs a pumpkin, you might have to wait a while till they accept another delivery. Be patient and try the other places listed above till you deliver all three carved pumpkins to finish the quest. Return to the Pumpkin King NPC in Crook’s Hollow to get your reward.
Halloween Spotlight Fisch Key Guide
To get the Halloween Spotlight Fisch Key, you have to finish Pumpkin King’s second quest. He will only offer it to you after you have completed the first one. This time, you have to fish for five FischFright fish that have any of the following mutations:
- Spooky
- Eerie
- Frightful
It has to be a fish from the FischFright 2025 Halloween event, which you can find by fishing on Crook’s Hollow Island. Once completed, you also get the Bat Glider as a reward, along with the Fisch Key for the Halloween Spotlight Event.
Tips on Catching Mutated Fish
- Use the Spooky Rod if you have it. It is the best and easiest way to get the Spooky, Eerie, or Frightful mutations on any fish you catch. You can get it by submitting Witch’s Ingredients to the Fisch Witch Beatrix NPC during the FischFright event.
- You can also use the Spooky, Eerie, or Frightful Enchants on other rods. These add a passive chance to mutate any fish caught.
- Wait for the mutation surge event and then try your luck in the Crook’s Hollow waters to increase the chances of catching the five fish.
