Tungsten in Necesse is a useful material that you do not get right from the start. The material has two stages: Ore and Ingot, and to unlock both, you will need access to the Deep Caves. For that, you must defeat the Pirate Captain. Tungsten is a crucial part of crafting during the mid-stages of the game. So, if you are confused about how to find it or process it, do not worry. In this article, we will explain how to access it and then turn it into useful ingots.
How To Get Tungsten Ore in Necesse
In Necesse, you can get Tungsten Ore from the Deep Caves. To access these caves, you will have to defeat the Pirate Captain first and unlock the Deep Ladder Down. Once you get the ladder, placing it in the right location is key. While it is possible to craft more Deep Ladder Downs, you will need Tungsten for that, which you cannot obtain without the original.
Once the Deep Ladder Down is set up, obtain a Demonic Pickaxe. After you have obtained the latter and placed the former in the right place, you can head into the Deep Caves to mine Tungsten Ore. There will be other rocks there too, so keep going until you find what you are looking for. You can easily spot Tungsten Ore by its blue color.
Lastly, torches will be essential for your mining work since it gets quite dark inside the Deep Caves, and if you cannot see anything, you cannot mine.

How To Make Tungsten Bars in Necesse
Once you have enough Tungsten Ore, you can start making Tungsten Bars. Essentially, bars refer to the items you get after melting Tungsten Ore down into ingots. To do this, you will have to use the forge. If you have processed other metals in the forge before, the formula remains the same.
Simply put the Tungsten Ore into the forge and add some wood to light the fire. One Tungsten Ingot requires four Tungsten Ore, so keep that in mind when you are mining. Once you exhaust the ores in one Deep Cave, you can make another Deep Ladder Down and move on to other caves in different areas.
