The Most Electrifying Eelektrik in Pokemon Legends Z-A is a short but fun side quest that lets you help a trainer named Anguil figure out which of his Eelektrik deserves to evolve. You can take on this side mission once you finish Main Mission 19 and reach Rank D.
You will find Anguil in Bleu Sector 5 of the Bleu District, near a drinks stall next to Wild Zone 12. The easiest way to reach him is by using the fast travel point at Nouveau Cafe, also known as Truck No. 2. Once you arrive, look for a cheerful man standing near the stall.
When you talk to him, Anguil will tell you how much he admires Canari and her strong Eelektross. He has raised a few Eelektrik but only has one Thunder Stone. To decide which one should evolve, he challenges you to a battle. Accept his challenge to begin the quest.
How To Finish The Most Electrifying Eelektrik Quest in Pokemon Legends Z-A
You will fight Anguil of DYN4MO, who sends out three Eelektrik one after another. All of them are Electric-type Pokemon, which means they are weak to Ground moves. Since abilities like Levitate are not present in this game, your Ground attacks will always land.
Bringing a Ground-type Pokemon is the easiest way to win this fight. Garchomp, Excadrill, or Krookodile can quickly finish the battle. Even a lower-level Ground-type Pokemon can handle it if you plan your moves right.
Once you beat Anguil, Mani from the Canari Quiz Whiz Contest shows up. He reminds Anguil that Canari became strong by training her weakest Eelektrik, not by picking the strongest one.
The Most Electrifying Eelektrik Quest Rewards in Pokemon Legends Z-A
After the battle, you get 1,800 Poke Dollars, one Thunder Stone, and one Calcium. The Thunder Stone helps certain Pokemon evolve, like Eelektrik into Eelektross, Pikachu into Raichu, or Eevee into Jolteon. If you need more Thunder Stones later, you can buy them at the Stone Emporium on Vernal Avenue for 3,000 Poke Dollars each.
