Slowbro is a Water/Psychic dual-type Pokemon introduced in Generation I. As its name indicates, it is very slow. However, its high bulk has let it hold a niche in the competitive meta. It continued to do so when it received a Mega Evolution in Generation VI. Here we breakdown how it does in the Legends Z-A meta.
Best Slowbro Moveset in Pokemon Legends Z-A
These are the moves you want to use on your Slowbro if you plan on Mega Evolving it later in battle.
- Future Sight
- Surf
- Toxic
- Flamethrower
Sadly, Slowbro is not as good as it could be due to not having its ability, Regenerator. However, its bulk is still good, especially after it Mega Evolves. This makes it useful as a wall to wear the opponent’s Pokemon down.
Future Sight is a useful Psychic-type move that deals delayed damage, keeping opponents on their toes. Slowbro learns the move at level 45. Surf is the Water STAB of choice, coming at level 36. Toxic is useful to wear down opponents, which Slowbro learns with TM007 found in Rouge Sector 2. Finally, Flamethrower helps against Grass and Bug-types, which you get (TM062) from Wild Zone 17.

Slowbro loves a Bold (+Def, -Atk) nature, as it helps with its bulk. You can get a Bold mint from a vendor in Rouge Sector 1.

You can catch a Slowpoke in either Wild Zone 10 or 11. And in the latter you can try to get a Slowbro in the wild.
