Destiny 2: All The Final Shape Exotic Armors

The Final Shape adds four new Exotic Armors to Destiny 2; here are locations and everything you should know.

Destiny 2 - All The Final Shape Exotic Armors

Bungie has unveiled six exotic weapons and six exotic armor pieces, making a total of 12 new exotics in The Final Shape expansion. However, given that this expansion marks the conclusion of the Dark and Light Saga, it’s possible that more exotics could be added for the final release on June 4th, 2024. Previous expansions varied in their exotic counts: Beyond Light introduced 12 new exotics, while Lightfall and The Witch Queen each brought 13 new exotic items.

Each piece of exotic armor features a unique golden perk, making it highly valuable, rare, and sought after. These exotics enhance your collection and are incredibly useful in various combat scenarios.

How to Acquire Exotic Armor in Destiny 2

Exotic armor in Destiny 2 can be obtained through several methods:

  • Story Rewards: Completing specific campaign missions or story arcs often rewards players with exotic armor pieces.
  • Exotic Engrams: These can drop randomly from various activities or be purchased from Xur. Exotic engrams decrypt into a random piece of exotic gear.
  • Exotic Quests: Some exotic armor pieces are tied to specific quests that involve completing various challenges or missions.
  • Random Drops: Engaging in endgame activities like Nightfalls, Raids, and Dungeons can yield exotic armor as random drops.
  • Seasonal Events and Challenges: Participating in seasonal events or completing high-tier challenges and milestones can reward exotic gear.
  • Lost Sectors: Dungeon-like solo activities with a random chance to drop exotic armor.
  • Xur: The mysterious vendor Xur appears weekly and sells a rotating selection of exotic armor and weapons. His inventory is reliable for obtaining specific exotics you may be missing.

Note: We don’t know how each new Final Shape armor can be collected, but we’ll update the guide as soon as the expansion goes live.
