Sidearms are powerful weapons in PVE for close-range combat and Breachlight is no exception. Firstly, the Arrowhead Brake allows our recoil to be as manageable as possible and boosts our stability. Flared Magwell, Reload Masterwork, and Backup Mag allow us to spend less time reloading and give more time between reloads. Demolitionist provides us grenade energy for kills with the weapon and reloads the weapon after using our grenade. However, this can be swapped with Pugilist depending on if you are running a melee-based build. Lastly, Desperate Measures is a great stacking damage perk that ramps up damage after getting kills with the weapons and ability kills.
These perks combine to give us a stacked sidearm with some great perks. The biggest negative of sidearms is their range so they can be difficult to use in end-game content where enemies hit harder. However, in regular leveled content, sidearms can be a fun weapon to use that performs similarly to submachine guns.

The best perks for Breachlight PVP God Roll are Smallbore, Accurized Rounds, Perpetual Motion, and Desperate Measures. These provide important stats, utility, and damage for the weapon.

As with most PVP weapons, we are focusing on range perks to extend the range of our weapon. So Smallbore, Accurized Rounds, and Range Masterwork provide us with a massive boost in our range above the base. Also, Perpetual Motion boosts our stability, handling, and reload speed by simply moving making it easy to maintain in PVP. Lastly, Desperate Measures stacks damage based on kills with the weapon and abilities.
Sidearms are potent close-range PVP weapons, especially for controller input players. They pack a nice punch and are very easy to control making them great as a secondary weapon. Breachlight falls right into this category providing a strong weapon for the PVP player’s arsenal.
How to Get Breachlight in Destiny 2
You can obtain Breachlight by completing any of the Episode I: Echoes activities. Once you have unlocked the weapon you can focus additional rolls from Failsafe in the Helm. Also, completing the Arean Breach and the Enigma Protocol episode activities can award the Breachlight. Unlike episodal-based weapons, the Reprised weapons cannot be crafted, but they can have their perks enhanced.
