Warhammer 40K Space Marine 2 features multiple different currencies. Players can use them for a variety of purposes as they stomp out the Tyranids. Thus, it is important to know what each of these currencies do in the game before you start your Ultramarine journey.
In this article, we will provide an overview of all the different currencies in Warhammer 40K Space Marine 2, so you know what you’re doing as you spend your hard-earned rewards.
All Currencies Featured in Warhammer 40K Space Marine 2
There are a total of five collectible currencies in Space Marine 2. These are:
- Armory Data
- Master-Crafted Armory Data
- Artificer Armory Data
- Relic Armory Data
- Mastery Points
Armory Data
Armory Data is the most important and the most common currency in Space Marine 2. You can use Armory Data to not only unlock and upgrade your Class Perks but also for Chapter Customization. While Class Perks cost 20 Armory Data per slot, Chapter Customization costs can range anywhere between 20-90 Armory Data.
To unlock Armory Data, you can complete PvE Operations and the Trials for each Class in the Armoring Hall. The Operations can grant you different amounts of Armory Data based on their threat level. Given below is how much Armory Data you can earn by completing Operations:
- Minimal Threat Level: 35 Armory Data
- Average Threat Level: 55 Armory Data
- Substantial Threat Level: 95 Armory Data
- Ruthless Threat Level: 165 Armory Data
Master-Crafted Armory Data
Master-Crafted Armory Data can be used to upgrade your mastery over both Standard and Master-Crafted weapons. This allows you to unlock Mastery Points, another important currency in Warhammer 40K Space Marine 2. To earn Master-Crafted Armory Data, you can:
- Complete trials for each Class in Armoring Hall for the first time.
- Collect Servo Skulls during Operations.
- Kill bosses found in the Operations.
It is important to remember that the game only grants you Master-Crafted Armory Data if you complete Operations at Minimal and Average Threat Levels.
Artificer Armory Data
Artificer Armory Data can be used to upgrade your Artificer weapons in Space Marine 2. Much like Master-Crafted Armory Data, upgrading and mastering Artificer weapons grants you Mastery Points. To earn Artificer Armory Data, you have to complete Operations at a Substantial Threat Level. Additionally, you can earn Artificer Armory Data by defeating bosses and decrypting Servo Skulls.
Relic Armory Data
Relic Armory Data is one of the harder currencies to obtain in Warhammer 40K Space Marine 2. You can use this valuable resource to upgrade Relic-tier weapons, which are some of the most powerful armaments in the game. However, in order to earn Relic Armory Data, you have to take down Operation bosses and secure Servo Skulls at the Ruthless Threat Level.
Mastery Points
Mastery Points are very useful in Space Marine 2. You can obtain Mastery Points by first unlocking weapons using the Armory Data currency. You then have to invoke their masteries by using Master-Crafted, Artificer, and Relic Armory Data.
After you invoke weapon masteries, you can then earn Mastery Points. These can later be used to further improve your weapon’s capabilities in the game.
