The wait for 2K’s latest basketball simulation game is finally over, as NBA 2K25 is coming out today, September 6, 2024. The game is available on PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One and Series X|S, PC, and Nintendo Switch. The release schedule differs for PCs and consoles; the release time will also depend on your country and the relevant time zone.

Steam has a release window specific to each region. This ensures that NBA 2K25 has the same release time worldwide, no matter the country. Meanwhile, the console launch time is set to midnight for every time zone, except for PDT (Pacific Daylight Time). This region, which includes the westernmost part of the United States and Canada (observed in cities like San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Vancouver), will be seeing the game launch on September 5.
As of now, NBA 2K25 is already available in every time zone for both Steam (PC) and consoles (PS, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch). So, you can buy any of the different editions of the game if you didn’t pre-order it. Meanwhile, those who pre-ordered the game were able to access it from September 4, 2024, in early access.
