The Mortal Kombat 1: Khaos Reigns expansion, which is a paid DLC, has added a new storyline. The developer continues the cinematic narrative by introducing new characters and highlighting their backstories. Titan Havik is the major antagonist in the arc.

The Khaos Reigns story focuses on Liu Kang as he organizes his allies and battles Titan Havik from an alternate timeline. The expansion also includes new storylines for classic Kombatants, namely Noob Saibot, Cyrax, and Sektor, who all fall under Kombat Pack 2.

2) Animality

Animality, a fan-favorite finishing move, made its return to the franchise as part of the free content update that accompanied the Mortal Kombat 1: Khaos Reigns expansion. Animalities are special moves that allow fighters to morph into their spirit animals and annihilate their opponent.

The feature debuted in Mortal Kombat 3 and also featured in Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 and Mortal Kombat Trilogy. NetherRealm Studios has now brought it to Mortal Kombat 1, and players are hyped.

3) Kombat Pack 2

Mortal Kombat 1 impressed fans with the original Kombat Pack, which included guest fighters such as Peacemaker, Omni-Man from Invincible, and Homelander from The Boys. Now, NetherRealm Studios has introduced the new Kombat Pack 2. It contains six characters.

Kombat Pack 2 brings Cyrax, Sektor, and Noob Saibot. It also features the following guest fighters – Ghostface from the Scream franchise, T-1000 from the Terminator franchise, and Conan the Barbarian, who was portrayed by Arnold Schwarzenegger in the movie of the same name. Kombat Pack 2 is not sold separately, so players can only buy the characters along with the expansion pack.
