In NBA 2K25, you can choose between two affiliations — RISE and ELITE. There are some minor differences, which we have explained here.
RISE and ELITE are two affiliations your MyPLAYER can choose to side with in The City. These have been brought back from NBA 2K24, and the two sides have different courts this year. You have to choose your affiliation when starting out your career, so whose side should you pick?
So, here’s everything you need to know about these factions, their differences, and if they have any impact on your REP Rewards.
RISE and ELITE in NBA 2K: Court Differences
RISE is run by ShakeDown, and its headquarters are located inside a functional robot factory. If you select this faction, you’ll see enormous mech parts being transported all around this futuristic place.
Meanwhile, ELITE, which is led by LD2K, is in an exterior location — a pirate-themed run-down fort. There’s also a massive pirate ship in this court, which you can explore and even play in. To get from the bottom to the top deck, you can utilize a pulley system. To get back to the ground, simply hop on a zipline.
You’ll find these courts situated directly across from one another in the eastern section of The City. The RISE court is in the northeastern part whereas the ELITE court is in the southeastern region.
RISE and ELITE Reward Differences in NBA 2K25
NBA 2K25’s REP system has several tiers of rewards, and the more you play, the more you earn. There are four categories to progress through — Rookie, Starter, Veteran, and Legend. These have five tiers each, ranging from I to V. While the value of these rewards varies and increases as you progress through the ranks, your affiliation has less of an impact on them.
Within the REP system, there are two levels where you can receive faction-related rewards. These are detailed below:

These banners are the only differences when it comes to rewards by affiliation. Any other prizes and benefits remain the same.
