How Many Booster Packs Are There in Pokemon TCG Pocket?
There are three booster packs in Pokemon TCG Pocket currently. These packs have three powerful Pokemon as their mascots and all of them are from the A1 Genetic Apex Pack in Pokemon TCG Pocket:
- Pikachu Booster Pack
- Charizard Booster Pack
- Mewtwo Booster Pack
You will get exactly five cards by opening each booster pack. Moreover, each of the booster packs has different sets of cards that you can pull.
How Do Booster Packs Work in Pokemon TCG Pocket?
You will be able to open one booster pack every 12 hours in Pokemon TCG Pocket normally. Hence, you can open two booster packs per day, and there will be a countdown timer in the app that you can use to keep track of the period. If you have push notifications enabled, you will automatically be notified when your timer ends and you can immediately get back in to open another pack.
If you get the Premium Pass for Pokemon TCG Pocket, you will be able to open one additional pack per day. This pass will cost you $9.99 and will remain active for an entire month. You will also get exclusive premium missions to earn more hourglass with this pass.
How to Reduce Time Between Opening Booster Packs in Pokemon TCG Pocket?
You can use Hourglasses to reduce the time between successive booster pack openings in. The Hourglass is a new currency that is introduced in this game, and using one of these can shorten the timer by one hour.
Alternatively, you can also purchase Poke Gold, the premium paid currency of Pokemon TCG Pocket to reduce the timer. Note that there is a cap on purchasing this item. You will only be able to buy 720 Poke Gold a day in the game currently.
