Dragon Ball Sparking Zero, the newest entry in the popular Dragon Ball franchise, is scheduled to release worldwide on October 11, 2024. The three-day Early Access started on October 8. The action game has been developed by Spike Chunsoft and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment.

The game has a massive roster of 181 playable characters, which includes Goku (Super) Super Saiyan, Vegeta (Super) Super Saiyan, Broly (Super) Super Saiyan, Beerus, Golden Frieza, and many other legendary characters from the Dragon Ball universe. You can purchase them from the store with the in-game currency Zeni.

Some of the characters will not be available in the store initially. Once you reach level 20, all the purchasable characters will become available. You can also use Zeni to buy a variety of cosmetics.

Different Ways to Farm Zeni in Dragon Ball Sparking Zero

Since Zeni is the basic in-game currency of Dragon Ball Sparking Zero, you won’t have much difficulty in acquiring it.

1) Episode Battles

You can get a large number of Zeni by playing Episode Battles. They reward around 15,000 Zeni, along with some cosmetic rewards and characters. You can also replay these battles to gain more. You can even get the rewards in easy mode, but you won’t be able to unlock the optional side battles/what-if scenarios in that case.

2) Summon Shenron

Collecting Dragon Balls and summoning Shenron are iconic acts associated with the franchise, and they will also grant you Zeni. Once you have obtained the seven Dragon Balls, you can summon Shenron and wish for more Zeni. You can get Dragon Balls by completing optional missions and World Tournaments.

3) Tournaments

You can farm Zeni by participating in tournaments – World tournaments, Cell Games, Yamcha Games, and more. Ranking first in a World tournament awards 160,000 Zeni. If you unlock a character this way, you will get Zeni refunded if you already own that character in your roster. You can also get a good amount of Zeni by completing offline tournaments.

4) Mission Objectives

Completing mission objectives is another way to get Zeni. Tend to the optional objectives by completing tasks for Whis and Zen-Oh to get extra Zeni. Do check the mission details thoroughly before diving into them.
