Undisputed, a boxing game developed by Steel City Interactive, is available on Steam, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S.
It has been over 13 years since EA’s Fight Night Champion captured lightning in a bottle, attracting both boxing fans and gamers, with its mechanics and visuals. It has also been 13 years since we had a major boxing game release.
Undisputed, a new boxing game developed by Steel City Interactive, is set for release next week. Featuring over 70+ licensed boxers faithfully recreated in-game, Undisputed will be available on Steam, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series S and Xbox Series X.
Below, we have shared the release date and time for all the platforms the game is releasing on.
Undisputed on Steam
New is perhaps a misleading word for Undisputed, as Steel City released the game on Early Access on Steam on January 31, 2023. The devs have since treated player feedback as gospel and fine-tuned the boxing game over a year and a half.
With all the tune-ups, tweaks, patches and updates, the Standard Edition of Undisputed released on October 8, 2024 at 4 pm BST. Players who purchased the game in Early Access get access to Roy Jones Jr ’93 as a playable character. Others can purchase the same as DLC or by purchasing the Deluxe Edition.
Do note that the Steam version of the game requires a controller to play. The game does not support keyboard and mouse.
Undisputed on Consoles
The new boxing sensation releases on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series S and Xbox Series X on October 11, 2024. The game launches in the UK on Friday at 4 pm (BST). There is no mention of a release time in the US, but should the game unlock at the same time for everyone, gamers in the US can play around 10 am (GMT – 4).
If you preordered the Undisputed WBF Deluxe Edition, however, you can access the game right now as it unlocked on October 8, 2024, same as the Steam version.
Editions Available for Purchase
Undisputed has two editions that you can purchase, the Standard Edition and the Undisputed WBC Deluxe Edition. The Deluxe Edition of the game includes the base game, early access on October 8, and the following extras:
- The Fighter Pack: Jaime Munguia, Regis Prograis, Jesse ‘Bam’ Rodriguez, Dmitry Bivol, Caleb Plant and Julio Cesar Chavez, along with alternate ring attire for each.
- The Apparel Pack: Alternate ring attire for Claressa Shields, Canelo Alvarez, Oleksandr Usyk, Katie Taylor, Tyson Fury and Amir Khan.
- The Era Pack: Three young fighter versions – Tyson Fury ’09, Canelo Alvarez ’11 and Muhammad Ali ’64.
