Jiren has one canon ending and two alternate what-if endings that you can unlock in Dragon Ball Sparking Zero.
Dragon Ball Sparking Zero features several character sagas that you can play through with important choices that steer the story in different directions. What if Goku and Piccolo never teamed up? Or what if Vegeta and Trunks took on Cell together? What-if scenarios have been the bread and butter of the Dragon Ball Sparking series (also called Budokai Tenkaichi), and Jiren’s saga is an example of this. Jiren’s story features three different endings depending on the choices you make.
In this guide, we shall go over how you can unlock all of Jiren’s endings in Dragon Ball Sparking Zero.
How To Unlock Jiren’s Endings
The Canon Ending
Jiren’s canon ending can be unlocked by simply playing through Jiren’s saga and sticking to the objectives with no deviation. Survive four minutes against Frieza, Android 17, and Goku in the final battle to complete the objective and let the canon ending play out. This ending will play exactly as shown in the manga and anime. The fight against the trio can be overwhelming, but thankfully, you can lower the difficulty to easy, which will make surviving the four minutes easier. Survive and unlock Jiren’s canon ending.
Jiren’s Strength is Absolute Ending
The game offers two alternate endings that deviate from the canon story. To unlock the Jiren’s Strength is absolute ending, you will have to deal with Kale and select “Take care of her now” in the “Saiyan Rampage” mission. Next, defeat the Goku, Frieza, and Android trio as fast as possible. Defeat the trio to watch the alternate ending play out. This ending can only be unlocked on the default difficulty setting. Lowering the difficulty will prevent you from seeing it.
Jiren’s True Strength Ending
You can unlock the True Strength ending by selecting “Wait and see” and seeing what happens to Kale instead of finishing her off in the “Saiyan Rampage” mission. Progress through the mission, and you will once again come face-to-face with Goku, Frieza, and Android 17. Defeat the trio as fast as possible to unlock the alternate ending. This ending, much like Jiren’s Strength is absolute ending, can only be unlocked while playing on the default difficulty setting. Lowering the difficulty to easy will prevent you from unlocking the ending.
