Experience all the Future Trunks Branching Paths as this guide takes you through all his paths in Dragon Ball Sparking Zero.
The Dragon Ball gaming franchise has come a long way since DBZ: Kakarot, especially with the addition of Branching Paths in their latest game. While you can’t choose the dialogues your character will deliver, your decisions and plays can alter the course of the story.
Some fights can have different outcomes, and the Future Trunks story campaign offers you the freedom to explore. To unlock Super Trunks, you must first complete the Future Trunks arc in Goku’s storyline. You can then dive into Trunks’ Episode mode.
Here’s a guide to help the players explore all the Future Trunks Branching Paths. There are three in total.
Three Future Trunks Branching Paths in Chronological Order
By the time players reach the point of unlocking Trunks in Episode mode, they will have developed excellent skills. However, the battles will be more difficult. Stick to this guide to unlock the desired endings.
Shining Hope
All gamers can access this storyline during the Twisted Worlds Episode after fighting against Goku Black and Zamasu. You must defeat the opponents within a time limit and deal as much damage as possible. Try hitting the most Sparking finishing moves before the battle is over.
You will first find yourself fighting against Zamasu. After eliminating him, the showdown will put you against Goku Black in a ferocious battle. Defeating the latter will complete this storyline.
Inherited Pride
When faced with Trunks’s Choice, opt to stay with Vegeta to let the future warrior realize his potential alongside his father. You will eventually have to face Cabba; defeating him will progress the story further.
In the end, Toppo will present a challenge in the Tournament of Power. A victorious outcome in this battle will conclude this Branching Path.
Embarking Toward Tomorrow
This is a completely alternative timeline wherein Trunks decides to go with Gohan instead of staying with Vegeta. Players will have to defeat Kale, another Super Saiyan from Universe 6, in the Tournament of Power.
Kale, however, isn’t the final boss for this storyline. Instead of letting him face Android 17, Future Trunks will be the one to challenge Jiren. Without a doubt, you would have to make him eat his own words to conclude the final Branching Path.
All these battles offer lots of experience to the character, making it beneficial for the players. A Super Saiyyan would no doubt enjoy the fights!
