How to Unlock the Closing the Book Achievement in Metaphor ReFantazio
In order to unlock the Closing the Book achievement, you have to battle and take down the Redscale Dragon Superboss in the game. This is an incredibly challenging and lengthy battle. However, to further add to the challenge, the Redscale Dragon fight cannot be accessed before New Game Plus. This means that you have to beat the game at least once and start a new playthrough with the New Game Plus mode. This is the only way to get the Closing the Book achievement.
Once you have started your New Game Plus playthrough, you need to choose the Book of Apocalypse in Akademia. This will allow you to access the Redscale Dragon boss fight. As mentioned, this is an incredibly challenging fight. It is recommended that you grind and strengthen your party as much as you can before heading into battle.
Additionally, it is important to remember that you need to be playing on the Easy difficulty or higher. This is because if you choose the Storyteller difficulty at any stage, you will lose access to the Redscale Dragon Superboss until your next playthrough.
