With Dragon Ball Sparking Zero DLC drawing closer with each passing week, here’s a wishlist for the upcoming game.

Dragon Ball Sparking Zero already offers a lot in its campaign mode in terms of its roster and storylines. With the DLC already announced, fans must be hyped about what Bandai Namco probably has in store for them. The official announcement has given players a timeline and a vague idea of what the DLC will consist of. The three parts will be released in different phases but will wrap up before the end of the second quarter of 2025.

So far, we know that the developers will add 20 more characters to the already existing 182-player roster. Hence, you can access the DLC if you have bought the season pass. That said, let’s look into what more Sparking Zero might offer to its players when 2025 hits.

Here are five things we would like to see added to the game.

NOTE: This list is not official but a wishlist that fans can enjoy and relate to.

1. New Maps to Battle in

The game offered us 12 maps at launch, and most players are content. However, you can never have too many locations to duel in. Mods like LFSE are already letting players fight in maps featured on the Menu screen or in cutscenes. Local matches also don’t offer much of a selection map-wise. The community will definitely appreciate a few new maps.

2. Brand New Storylines

New storylines should accompany the other DLC content. Since we will be getting characters from Dragon Ball DAIMA in DLC packs 2 and 3, it would only make sense for Dragon Ball Sparking Zero to add a brand new campaign for fans to play through and enjoy.

3. New Abilities to Make Gameplay More Fun

Dragon Ball Sparking Zero already features many exciting abilities. However, some new additions could aid further experimentation. This will also make PvP fights more fun, with players loving the opportunity to try out new abilities with their favorite characters from the roster.

4. More Fun Modes to Play

As of now, we can only brawl. The developers can get a bit more creative by introducing new modes. While they can still be all about fighting, some custom modes that allow players to turn off Ki-based powers or ranged attacks will make the combat more challenging, fun, and refreshing.

5. Keeping Dragon Ball Sparking Zero Active in the Future

Sparking Zero hasn’t marketed itself as a live service game. Given the situation for most live-service games in the market nowadays, that’s probably a good decision. But, players who would love to continue supporting the title even after the third pack release in Q2 of 2025 would appreciate the gesture. There should be more DLCs to keep Sparking Zero alive for longer.

Only a few months remain until Sparking Zero’s first downloadable pack comes along. Are you hyped?
