The Boruto series has been progressing rather steadily. While the anime adaptation has yet to catch up to the manga, the source material has gotten quite interesting. The protagonist of the series has gone on to become one of the strongest fighters in the village. Those are who new to the series have been asking one question in particular – who is Boruto’s true master? Sasuke is Boruto’s true master

While his father is the Seventh Hokage himself, Boruto doesn’t really get along well with him. He respected Sasuke Uchiha and looked up to him. Sasuke’s longstanding relationship with Naruto helped the protagonist get the Uchiha prodigy as his master. Therefore, it’s safe to say that Sasuke is Boruto’s true master in the animanga series.

With that said, Sasuke is currently in a precarious state. He is currently not playing the role of the mentor. This is due to the fact that Sasuke is sealed by the Shinju and Boruto surpassed Sasuke in terms of overall strength. However, this doesn’t take away from the fact that Sasuke is Boruto’s true master.

Why Sasuke is Boruto’s True Master

While there are many debates and discussions on this topic, there is absolutely no doubt that Sasuke was Boruto’s mentor in the series. There were a couple of compatibility issues when we analyzed their fighting styles. However, Sasuke still managed to mentor the young kid in the series. His impact on the protagonist wasn’t particularly worth discussing since he was away for most of the time. He was protecting Konohagakure from the shadows, and this forced him to adopt nomadic tendencies.

However, he played an important role in cultivating Boruto’s true potential. During the time skip, Sasuke fled the village with the protagonist and trained. Sasuke taught him every Uchiha technique that he knew about. He also trained him to a point where his own student surpassed him in combat abilities. Therefore, Sasuke Uchiha is unequivocally Boruto’s true master in the manga series. Fans who have read the final few chapters of Two Blue Vortex will be aware of Sasuke’s efforts in shaping Boruto’s abilities.

Konohamaru’s Role in Boruto’s Life

Konohamaru was indeed an important person in Boruto’s life. He was quite emotional when he received the chance to mentor Boruto. This was a full-circle moment for him since he was mentored by Naruto Uzumaki at a young age. One of the reasons why he worked hard to become the best version of himself was Naruto’s influence.

Konohamaru mentored the protagonist of the series to a considerable extent. He showed a great deal of compassion towards him. He was also happy to teach Boruto to perform the Rasengan. It is clear that he has played a substantial role in developing some of the basic skills that Boruto has mastered right now.

With that said, it is important to note that much of Boruto’s current strength has to be credited to Sasuke. While Konohamaru might have helped early on in the series, it was Sasuke’s teachings that elevated Boruto to the next level. Konohamaru was integral in helping the protagonist develop some of the more basic techniques and temperament for real-life missions.

Kashin Koji’s Role in Boruto’s Life

At first, it might have seemed like the two didn’t share a connection. However, things drastically changed as the Boruto: Two Blue Vortex manga chapters progressed. Kashin was a clone of Jiraiya, and there were plenty of theories floating around on the internet. However, his relationship with the protagonist and the extent of his involvement in the plot was recently revealed. Those who have read the manga will know that he was a former member of the Kara. But, what newer fans may not know is that he is currently working with the protagonist and helping him at various stages of the story.

Kashin Koji and Boruto seemed to be not only working together but also happened to be using Orochimaru’s hideouts. The former member of the Kara also gave Boruto essential intel about the Shinju entities. The protagonist was interrogated in the latest chapter, and he revealed the identities of the Shinju. Kashin Koji also has the ability to see glimpses of the future. With these abilities in mind, Kashin Koji is helping Boruto neutralize the enemy. Kashin Koji also informed Boruto about the Thorn Soul Bulbs, which are important in saving the likes of Sasuke and Moegi

Conclusion

It is safe to say that there were plenty of people who played an important role in Boruto’s life. However, Sasuke’s contribution cannot be overstated. His efforts during the time skip were essential to the growth in Boruto’s combat capabilities.
