However, while the boss may seem easy, the game adds tension by implementing a turn limit, tasking you to defeat Glechom in three turns or less.

In this Metaphor ReFantazio Master Sergeant Glechom Boss Guide, we shall go over the boss, his potential weaknesses, and the pre-battle preparations. We will also discuss the attacks and skills you need to defeat within the three-turn limit, along with the ideal party setups and necessary Archetypes.

All About Master Sergeant Glechom in Metaphor ReFantazio

Master Sergeant Glechom, or Glechom the Great as he likes to call himself, is a level 32 boss found as a part of the ‘Infiltrate the Charadrius’ quest in Metaphor ReFantazio. Glechom holds a key you require and is also the one behind the bombardment in the Grand Cathedral earlier in the game. The boss comes riddled with a three-turn timer that requires you to deal with him swiftly. He also has no particular strengths or weaknesses and would have been a standard affair if not for the three-turn limit.

Preparation for Master Sergeant Glechom in Metaphor ReFantazio

There are no particular preparations you can take against Glechom as he has no exploitable weaknesses. Your main focus is to end the fight quickly so you need to dish out high damage. The Warrior and his slash attacks are a necessity here. You can also use the Assassin Archetype to the same effect.

We recommend running the Protagonist with the Seeker. This will allow you to use high damage magic skills, while also possessing the capability to heal. Grohl will run the Warrior Archetype for his physical strikes, while Hulkenberg will run the Knight Archetype for the Knight’s Proclamation Skill. This will draw the boss’s aggression towards the Knight instead of the whole party. Lastly, Heismay will run the Assassin Archetype.

We recommend bringing in the Seeker for its attack and defense capabilities. The magic skills deal moderate to high damage, while Dei helps you heal. Meanwhile, the Warrior Archetype hits hard and will help you make the most out of each turn. You should also run the Knight for the Knight’s Proclamation skill as this will let you draw his attention to Hulkenberg alone and not let him target the whole party. Lastly, use the Assassin Archetype to steal valuable loot from the boss.

Metaphor ReFantazio Master Sergeant Glechom Battle Strategy

When fighting Glechom, you have to end the battle in three turns or less. This means making the most of each turn and attack. The first thing you want to do is thwart Glechom’s party-wide attacks by using Knight’s Proclamation. This will draw his attention to Hulkenberg and let the rest of the party focus on offense. Do remember to also keep track of Hulkenberg’s HP while you’re at it.

Next, you want to hit as hard as possible. The Warrior’s Diagonal Slashes are ideal for this and will take away chunks of HP at a time. The Assassin’s Assassinate attack is also good for doing the same. The boss has no resistance or weaknesses, so there isn’t any surefire way to beat him with the Seeker. All Seeker skills are viable, and we recommend using whichever you like best.

Use high-powered attacks and eat away at Glechom’s HP to stomp him under three turns. Make sure to regularly heal Hulkenberg or else you risk her dying in the fight while you’re distracted.

Master Sergeant Glechom Rewards

Defeating the boss grants you the following rewards:

Conclusion
