Enshrouded doesn’t directly give you access to Violet Fabric. The process of obtaining it will get easier as you read this guide.
Violet Fabric is an item that you can’t randomly come across in Enshrouded whenever you like. Unlike other common items, it is rarely found in the wild. This is because players have to craft it themselves.
The process is pretty simple. First, you must complete quests like the Almanac of Plants and Seeds for the Farmer. Then, you need to unlock the Laboratory by completing a quest called Scientific Instruments for a Laboratory. The Alchemist will give you this quest. Another quest assigned by the Alchemist is The Alchemist’s Wisdom.
Completing these quests will set you up to unlock the recipe for Mauveine, a violet powdered substance. Once you obtain this substance, your Violet Fabric recipe will unlock automatically. Visit the Hunter to craft the Violet Fabric you were eagerly looking for. All you need for this is Mauveine and Fabric.
It can be confusing how to get these two items first. So, let’s guide you a little more to ensure you reach the right destination.
Obtaining Items Required for the Violet Fabric in Enshrouded
Firstly, you need to find some Fabric. If you don’t come across it while exploring, you can always use two Linens to make it. To do this, you need the Loom, which is unlocked at the Hunter. The Loom produces one Fabric from two Linen in two minutes.
As for Mauveine, the process is a bit more complicated. Once you unlock the substance, you need to visit the Laboratory each time to craft it. Use 5 Tar, 1 Alchemical Base, 1 Nitrate, and 1 Sulfur to produce 5 Mauveine in six minutes. We recommend stocking up on these items beforehand.
Finally, head to the Hunter to craft Violet Fabric. This fabric can now be used to make high-level armor and high-tier equipment that would otherwise be inaccessible.
