Zealot’s Reward is a void rapid-fire frame fusion rifle introduced in the Garden of Salvation Raid from the Shadowkeep Expansion. Garden of Salvation weapons were updated and revised during Episode: Revenant. Rapid-fire frame fusion rifles are favored for their fast fire rate in PvE. The Zealot’s Reward is fully craftable as of Episode Revenant. This guide will discuss the PvE and PvP god rolls and how to get the Zealot’s Reward fusion rifle.

You obtain the Zealot’s Reward from the Garden of Salvation raid on the Moon. Specifically, the Zealot’s Reward can drop from the raid’s 1st Encounter, Evade, or any hidden chest after acquiring it at least once from the said encounter. To access Garden of Salvation, you must own the Shadowkeep expansion. As of Episode Revenant, the Zealot’s Reward can be crafted at the Enclave once you have unlocked its Deepsight pattern. To unlock crafting for the Zealot’s Reward, you must extract 5 patterns from Deepsight versions of the weapon.
To acquire the Deepsight Pattern of the Garden of Salvation Weapons, players must go to the Clan Vendor, Suraya Hawthorne at the Tower and acquire the “Deepsight Signal” quest. This quest guarantees a red border weapon on completion and only requires that every encounter in the raid be completed. This quest can be completed weekly and once completed the player can purchase an additional Deepsight weapon the player has unlocked in collections. Deepsight Patterns can also sometimes drop with the weapons acquired during the raid itself or have it applied to them with a Deepsight Harmonizer.
What Is the Zealot’s Reward God Roll in Destiny 2?
A god roll is the best combination of perks and masterwork that a weapon can get. God rolls are often sought after as they are considered the ultimate drop of that weapon and the most effective roll used in most content. In most situations, there are two god rolls for any gun, a roll for PvE and one for PvP. The Vs Chill Inhibitor has an extremely powerful PvE god roll that everyone should try and grab as soon as they can. The weapon shreds through any encounter that requires damage on a single target. Alternatively, the PvP roll, while decent, can be skipped as it is similar to other god rolls on easier-to-acquire weapons.
PvE Zealot’s Reward God Roll
The best perks for the Zealot’s Reward PvE God Roll are Arrowhead Brake, Enhanced Battery, Lead from Gold, and Controlled Burst. These provide important stats, utility, and damage for the weapon.

PvE Breakdown
Fusion Rifles are excellent PvE weapons for when dealing with enemies with larger health pools. Rapid-fire frames are also great for certain situations when you need to do damage to bosses quickly at a close range. Arrowhead Brake will help Zealot’s Reward’s horrible recoil direction. Take the Enhanced Battery mod to get an extra few bolts in the magazine. These traits aren’t particularly interesting but they are important nonetheless.
In order to get the most out of most fusion rifles, the trait Controlled Burst is one of the best perks available for PvE. It increases the damage and charge time for every complete volley into an enemy or kill. In Column 3, the best choice is Lead from Gold for the extra ammo economy. Auto-Loading Holster is also a viable option, but is just slightly less useful on the Zealot’s Reward. This fusion rifle shines in content where you need to deal with larger enemies while also needing to deal damage to a boss.
PvP Zealot’s Reward God Roll
The best perks for the Zealot’s Reward PvP God Roll are Arrowhead Brake, Particle Repeater, Under Pressure, and Closing Time. These provide important stats, utility, and damage for the weapon.

PvP Breakdown
In the right hands, fusion rifles can be some of the best special weapons in PvP. They have a high-skill ceiling for some amazing kills but also have a decently low skill floor with their forgiveness. Rapid-fire frames like the Zealot’s Reward are the most forgiving of the bunch, but tend to be used less than the other archetypes by the masters. To improve on that forgiveness, take Arrowhead Brake and Particle Repeater to make its bolts land closer together.
Increasing the passive benefits of the weapon is the name of the game here. Under Pressure and Closing Time both have the same activation criteria of having a low ammo count in the magazine. They increase the stats of the weapon by quite a bit and are immediately active at the start of a PvP match due to starting with low ammo. Combining these two perks in conjunction should make the Zealot’s Reward a very consistent weapon.

There are 7 legendary weapons and one exotic weapon found in the Garden of Salvation raid. The Garden of Salvation has 4 primary weapons, 4 special weapons, and no heavy weapons.
